Join Our Team as Pediatric Radiologist in Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine – Make a Difference in Pediatric Healthcare
Are you a dedicated Pediatric Radiologist seeking a rewarding opportunity to impact young lives? We are looking for a skilled and compassionate specialist to provide onsite diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine services at a leading children's hospital. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality imaging interpretation and support clinical teams in diagnosing and treating pediatric patients.
Required Skills:
- Pediatric Radiology fellowship training
- CAQ certification or eligibility in Pediatric Radiology
- Proficient in reading X-rays, ultrasound, STAT CT, and MRI cases
- Strong attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in pediatric nuclear medicine
- Familiarity with hospital information systems and PACS
- Prior on-call experience in pediatric radiology
- Bilingual skills to better serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completed Pediatric Radiology fellowship
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology with additional subspecialty certification
- At least 2 years of post-fellowship experience in a pediatric radiology setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability for approximately one week of onsite coverage per month
- Shifts primarily Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., with optional on-call from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, or Sunday through Thursday schedules
- Submission of case logs and clean malpractice insurance required
- Compliance with hospital and departmental policies
