NEW Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Unit Opportunity | Full Time

Overview:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Neurology/Neuro Med Surg unit to provide high-quality, specialized care for patients with neurological conditions. This role involves close monitoring, rapid assessment of changes in condition, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to neuro patients (stroke, seizures, post-op neuro, TBI, etc.)
• Perform frequent neurological assessments and document changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
• Monitor for acute changes and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy teams, and support staff
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements:

• Active RN license (ND or compact)
• BLS certification (required or obtained during orientation)
• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients

Preferred:

• Med Surg, ICU, or Neuro experience
• Stroke care or telemetry experience
• Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care environment
