Join Our Esteemed Anesthesia Team as a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Detroit, MI
Are you a skilled CRNA seeking a rewarding temporary opportunity in a renowned Level 1 trauma center? We are looking for an experienced Locum CRNA to provide expert anesthesia care at Henry Ford Hospital, a leader in healthcare innovation. This pivotal role offers flexible day shifts, a dynamic surgical environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Current NBCRNA certification
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Active and full medical license in Michigan
- Proven experience managing adult patients in surgical settings
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques including general, neurosurgical, and deep sedation/MAC
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent assessment, monitoring, and emergency response skills
- Proficient documentation skills in Epic EMR
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pediatric anesthesia management
- Familiarity with regional anesthesia techniques
- Prior experience in Level 1 trauma centers
- Advanced airway and ventilation management expertise
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice post-licensure
- Relevant certifications demonstrating specialty skills
Other Requirements:
- Availability for day shifts only (8, 10, or 12 hours)
- No on-call or weekend assignments
- Willingness to complete credentialing within 90-120 days
- No travel, lodging, or rental car expenses covered; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
