Position Summary
The Registered Nurse provides competent, patient centered clinical care aligned with professional nursing standards. Reporting to nursing leadership, this role is responsible for coordinating and delivering care using the nursing process within an acute care hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities

Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

Identify learning needs and participate in ongoing professional development

Utilize patient education materials and assess readiness to learn

Establish patient specific outcomes and revise care plans as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

Provide safe, evidence based care for patients with varying levels of complexity

Perform point of care testing in accordance with standards and policies

Prioritize and organize care; seek guidance for complex clinical situations

Set and pursue professional growth goals aligned with unit objectives
