We are seeking Epilepsy Advocates, Registered Nurses, or Nurse Practitioners with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a leadership / educational capacity to join our team.

Due to our growth, we are looking to hire field-based patient educators to support our Washington, DC Division.

The primary efforts of the Clinical Nurse Educators are to fulfill the educational needs and implant logistics for our patients and families.  

You will be working hand in hand with our Medical Device Sales Consultants to help educate potential patients within your given geographical territory. Most of the role requires providing coordination and direction of our implant process, which includes educating likely patients and families about our product as a treatment option.  Once the decision has been made to move to implant, you will assist the physicians’ offices in setting up surgery consult appointments and fulfilling insurance prior authorization requirements to ensure the successful implantation of the product. 

Minimum Qualifications

It is necessary for you to be a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in epilepsy or medical devices and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. This position will require you to travel locally 40% of the time. The right person for this job will be a self-starter with sound interpersonal skills; someone who enjoys interacting with patients and physicians daily.
