Perioperative RN Manager opportunity in southern NH

For the past 100+ years this hospital has been serving the people of western NH and have changed over the years to get where they are now. In 2010 there was a huge renovation of the facility in which they expanded the emergency department, created private patient rooms, and have improved access to various services. 

The Perioperative Nurse Manager will provide nursing leadership for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care for surgical services.  This role oversees 7 RN's, one central sterile, 1 aide/housekeeper, 1 HUC/Scheduler. It could shift, so can be about 10-12 employees at a given time.

The right candidate will assume direct responsibility and 24 hour accountability for Same Day Surgery, Recovery Room, Operating Room, and Sterile Processing areas. Financial management responsibilities will include managing the departmental budget; monitoring expenses and coordinating effective use of supplies/equipment. The Nurse Manager sets the standards for the surgical services team and works with the staff ensuring standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have experience in selecting and hiring qualified applicants, matching staff competency with patient acuity, promoting professional development of staff and other supervisory responsibilities. If you are an experienced leader (CNOR preferred) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical and leadership experience, and a desire to be a leader who  would thrive on growing a surgical service line, please apply!
