Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Morning rounds required
Every third day: Manage all hospital calls/consults during shift hours
NO evening or weekend calls; coverage only during regular business hours
Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adults and adolescents
Conduct hospital and ER consultations
Manage all hospital calls and consults every third day
Provide comprehensive treatment for various psychiatric disorders including Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, and Organic Disorders
Familiarity with Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion Therapy, Voluntary Commitments, and ER procedures required
Patient Load:

Average Number of Patients Per Day: 5-12
Total Number of Beds: 18 adults, 5 adolescents

EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

Board Certified in Psychiatry
Available at least 2 weeks per month (Monday-Friday)
IA license or IMLC
Inpatient experience required
Experience treating patients ages 6 and up required
Familiarity with specified conditions and treatments
2+ years of inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
