32K annual volume, no trauma
EMR- Qualitick with Scribes
If BC BE IM/FP - Must have 1 year EM experience, 1000 clinical contacts in EM in last 2 years
24 hours of scribe coverage
Not a designated trauma center, but higher acuity
34 Slice CT Imaging
Ample sub-specialties on site and on 30 minute response call
Offers comprehensive services including emergency, cardiac services in the Heart Institute, an accredited Cancer Program, Women's and Children's Services in the Childbirth Center (including Pediatric Care and the only Level II NICU on the North Coast), Neurosurgery, and Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine.
Two full, state of the art trauma bays, 17 pre-operative beds, 10 post anesthesia care unit beds, 12 ICU rooms, 40 PCU beds, 8 operating rooms
