BC IM/FP with at least 2 years of ED experience
* high acuity
* 2 beds in triage & 8 bed fast track
* 17 hrs of MLP coverage in main ED and 12 hours in fast track
* hospitalist program in place 24/7
* backup includes: Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular surgery, Cath Lab, ENT, OBGYN, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, Ped, 24/7 MRI, Thoracic Surgeon
*Peds ICU and Trauma are shiped out, level I in El Paso and Childrens Hospital is 45 minutes away (dedicated helicopter for transfers)
* Ultrasound and glidescope in ED
* ED physicians respond to codes on the floor
