Description
This opportunity is for a Physician specializing in Critical Care, providing coverage in an acute care hospital setting. The provider will supervise internal medicine residents in a 20-bed ICU with a typical census of 16-19 patients. The role involves working PRN night shifts and/or weekends, with no call responsibilities. Candidates must be locally based with the ability to work nights and weekends as scheduled. The position requires someone capable of performing procedures if needed and supervising residents appropriately.
Skills
• MD with Board Certification in Critical Care (required)
• Active Massachusetts medical license (required; not willing to wait for licensing)
• BLS and ACLS (required)
• Minimum 1 year critical care/ICU experience
• Comfortable supervising residents and working in a team-based ICU model
• Local to the area and able to cover nights/weekends as scheduled

Working Hours:
• Coverage type: Scheduled shifts + No Call
• Shift focus: PRN, primarily nights and weekends
• Common shift options include: Nights: ~7:00p–8:00a | Weekends: ~7:00p–8:00a, 8:00a–7:00p, or 2:00p–12:00a (swing)
