Job Responsibilities
Provide emergency department coverage across day, swing, and night shifts
Manage acute and urgent care cases in a Level III Trauma setting
Respond to emergency situations and stabilize patients as needed
Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APCs)
Document patient care using Meditech EMR
Work independently while maintaining high-quality patient care standards

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
MD or DO from an accredited program
Active medical license or eligibility for licensure
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
Ability to obtain privileges within approximately 60 days

Working Hours
Approximately 10 shifts per month
Mix of day, swing, and night shifts
Weekday and weekend coverage required
Long-term assignment (6+ months)

Skills

Strong clinical decision-making in emergency settings
Ability to work independently in a lower-volume ED
Experience supervising APCs
Comfort managing a broad range of emergency cases
Adaptability across varying shift types
