Your New Role: Position: Physician Assistant - Orthopedics Job Duration: Permanent Setting: Clinic, hospital floor, and OR coverage Patient Population: Orthopedic patients in a comprehensive healthcare setting Assignment Dates: Ongoing, starting after completion of the interview and hiring process EMR: To be confirmed during the interview process What’s in the Offer: Competitive Edge: Join an established and respected team of 13 Orthopedic Surgeons and 15 Advanced Practice Clinicians within a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University. Incentives: Salary ranging from $104,040 to $141,727, depending on experience Sign-on bonus up to $50,000 Additional $20,000 by joining a twice-per-month call group Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off: 6 paid holidays, 56 hours of NYS sick time per year, 160 hours PTO, and 5 personal days Life insurance, short and long-term disability, and flexible spending account Paid malpractice insurance Retirement benefits through 403b or 401K Continuing medical education (CME) allowance: 5 days and up to $2000 Potential for loan repayment through Federal and State programs Moving allowance up to $5,000 Requirements: State License: New York State Physician Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain one) Certifications: Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) Experience: Prior experience in orthopedics is preferred but not required; training provided ? In this Role: As a Physician Assistant in a healthcare facility in southern Otsego County, NY, you will be joining a permanent position with responsibilities across the clinic, hospital floor, and operating room, caring for general orthopedic patients including post-surgical follow-ups. This role is ongoing and will commence upon hiring.
