Position Overview:

Optigy is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to join a high-volume, fully staffed Emergency Department in Waco, TX. Located on a comprehensive medical campus and serving as a certified stroke and chest pain center, this ED offers excellent specialty backup, supportive leadership, and a strong APP team. This is a W-2 employed position offering long-term stability and lifestyle balance in a growing Texas community.

Emergency Department:

* ED Volume: 54,000 annual visits

* ED Beds: 51

* Patients per Hour: 2

* Admission Rate: 18%

* Coverage Model: 10-hour shifts with 50-60 hours of physician coverage and 30-40 hours of NP/PA coverage per day

* Designations: Certified Stroke and Chest Pain Center

* EMR: Epic

* Qualifications:

o BC/BP in Emergency Medicine

* Sign-On Bonus: $60,000

* CME/BEA: Annual allowance
