Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Physicist for a 90-day assignment in New York, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves a 5-day work week with 8-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will lead radiation therapy physics activities, including machine calibrations, equipment QA, treatment planning, dosimetry measurements, brachytherapy, and radiation safety, while also teaching residents and engaging in research.
Responsibilities and Duties - Assume a leading role in standard radiation therapy physics activities: machine calibrations, equipment QA, treatment planning, dosimetry measurements and calculations, brachytherapy, and radiation safety.
- Teach residents.
- Identify new projects and carry them out to completion.
- Actively participate in the research activities of the section of medical physics.
