Overview:
A cardiology group is seeking two experienced Cardiology Physician Assistants to provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology coverage during a maternity leave assignment. This role includes independent patient management within a collaborative cardiology team environment.

Compensation:

$120/hr

Assignment Details:

Start: October 2026
Duration: 8–12 weeks
End Date: December 18, 2026

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No call required
Full-time coverage (~20 shifts/month)
Providers must commit to at least 5 consecutive days of availability

Practice Details:

Setting: Primarily outpatient cardiology clinic with some inpatient consults
EMR: Epic
Team includes:
3 APPs
3 Interventional Cardiologists
1 Electrophysiologist
Collaborative multidisciplinary environment

Patient Volume:

Up to 12 patients per day

Responsibilities:

Provide general cardiology care
Manage outpatient cardiology patients independently
Perform inpatient cardiology consults as needed
Collaborate with physicians and cardiology team members
Participate in multidisciplinary patient management

Requirements:

Board Certified PA-C – Required
Active Ohio License – Required at presentation
DEA and CSR – Required
BLS – Required
Minimum 1 year experience – Required
Prior cardiology experience – Preferred
Ability to work independently in outpatient and inpatient settings – Required

Credentialing:

Full or temporary privileges available
Estimated timeframe: ~60 days"
