Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
StartDate: 7/13/2026
Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50
This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: All shifts 7a-5p onsite then night call 5p-7a. Call back is very minimal
Practice Setting: Level II Trauma Center
Types of Cases: We are currently doing about 10-11 heart surgeries per month
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner Care B with SurgiNet
Certifications Required: Board Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support
Licensure Required: California
Facility Location Redding is a city located off Interstate 5 and between the Canadian and Mexican borders. The Sacramento River also goes through this city. During the 1950’s there was a great expansion of the lumber industry and two major dams in the Redding area now known as, the “Whiskeytown Dam” and the “Keswick Dam”, were built. During the housing and retail boom of the late 1980’s the population of Redding grew to 66,462.
