Are you a highly skilled ICU nurse seeking a flexible, fast-paced role that offers variety and impact? Our Critical Care Float RN position is designed for experienced clinicians who thrive on diverse challenges and want to elevate patient care across multiple ICU settings. What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a fast-paced environment
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
- Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management
- Ability to float between units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
- Excellent critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
- Experience with additional ICU specialties
- Prior experience with telemedicine or specialized equipment
- Additional certifications in critical care or advanced procedures
We Prefer Candidates Who Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- At least 2 years of comprehensive ICU experience
- Prior experience with EPIC and diverse ICU units
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as per policy
- Availability for night shifts (3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Must adhere to all hospital policies and maintain current licensure and certifications
- Reliable transportation and ability to work overnight hours
