Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)

Pay Rate: $2034.00 - $2096.00



Travel Speech Language Pathologist job in Jefferson County, Colorado lets you work with students in a school setting, helping them improve communication and language skills

You will conduct speech, language, and communication assessments, develop and implement IEPs, provide direct therapy to students individually and in groups, and collaborate with district staff and parents. Recommended qualifications include a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, an active Colorado SLP license, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence. School experience is preferred but not required

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Experience:  New Grad Accepted
Licenses: SLP-CO

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Speech Therapist Clinical Fellows are Encouraged to Apply
State License is Required to Start the Assignment


Preferred Qualifications
Prefers prior School Experience but will accept new gradsCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
