Description
Title: Teacher Support
Location: Sandusky, OH
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm M-F
Compensation: $16/hr-$20/hr
Environment: We are looking for passionate teaching assistants to join our team of special educators for the 22-23 school year.
Job Description:
· Apply the principles of behavioral science to assist the education and management of students
Assist with Precision Teaching activities
Assist with direct instruction programs and techniques
Assist with habit training duties
Assist with the management of students
Adhere to the classroom management tier assigned to each student
Supervise and execute school activities inside and outside the classroom
Assist in maintaining a safe and effective classroom environment
Use formal academic and behavior data to assist with interventions
Qualifications:
Must:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in education or childcare
Desire to work with special needs student population
Plus:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Experience in Teacher Support
