Details:
Ideal Candidate is BC/BE in IM or FM (other specialties with Hospitalist experience considered)
ND license and DEA without restrictions or ability to obtain
Expedited credentialing an option
25-bed hospital with a 4-bed open ICU.
Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM onsite with unrestricted night call 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
7 on/7 off OR 14 on/14 off schedule
Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) onsite during peak hours.
Average inpatient census: 8-15 patients per day; 2-3 daily admissions.
EMR: Meditech.
Care for a variety of acute concerns ranging from mild to complex cases.
HM Procedures: Thoracentesis, Paracentesis(diagnostic and therapeutic), Central Line, Ultrasound Guided PIV, Ventilator Management, Intubation preferred, not required, Lumbar Punctures
