• Position: Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgeon


• Location: Northern Utah (near Richmond, UT)


• Duration: Specific dates only – see below for details


• Coverage Type: Call coverage only; no clinic work required


• Shift: 24-hour call coverage


• Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 5 patients


• Annual Heart Cases: Facility manages around 80 heart cases per year (pre-COVID volumes were 110)

Scheduled Coverage Dates

• November 25 to December 1, 2024


• December 30, 2024 to January 7, 2025

Requirements

• Licensing: Must hold an active Utah medical license and Utah DEA registration


• Board Certification: Physician must be Board Certified and Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery


• Experience: Preference for candidates with recent experience in high-volume cardiovascular procedures

Support and Facility Information

• Support Staff: Includes one Advanced Practice Provider (APP), one Medical Assistant (MA), one Medical Office Specialist (MOS), and one Registered Nurse (RN)


• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech


• Temporary Privileges Available: Facility can expedite privileges for candidates with clean files
