Psychiatry - Addiction Psychiatry

Required Skills
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
- Completion of an Addiction Medicine fellowship
- Proven experience working with substance use disorder patients
- Knowledge of addiction treatment protocols including medications like Suboxone, Methadone, Sublocade, and Subutex
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with clinical management of alcohol and opiate detoxification
Nice to Have Skills
- Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient addiction treatment setting
- Certifications in Addiction Medicine or related specialties
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Crisis intervention and counseling skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or eligible in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in addiction treatment
Other Requirements
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with approximately two nights of overnight beeper call per week
- Familiarity with medications such as Librium, Suboxone, Methadone, Sublocade, and Subutex
- Valid medical license in the state of employment
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuing education
- Able to commit to a full-time schedule through at least October 2026, with the possibility of extension
