This Georgia Health System is currently recruiting a General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team for a new hospital location. This brand-new facility will be opening in the Spring of 2024. If you are an experienced surgeon with a passion for excellence in patient care, equally competent clinical skills, and are team oriented please apply!

We are located in one of the fastest growing areas in the state. The ideal candidate is an experienced surgeon interested in a bread and butter, elective outpatient surgery. A dedicated APP will work alongside the surgeon and assist with rounding, clinic.

Education, Training, & Experience

Medical Doctor
Board Certified in General Surgery
Demonstrated interest in endoscopy and colonoscopy
Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
Functions appropriately as part of care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills, both their own and those of other provider and staff
Excellent clinical skills
Team oriented
At least 3 years of surgical experience required
Opportunity Overview

Brand new facility opening in April 2024
* Start date will align with the opening of that hospital location
* Facility will have 3 ORs with an Endovascular suite, emergency services and 16 beds. Clinic space will be in the attached Medical Office Building along with other NGPG specialties.

* Supported by our Level I Trauma Center TACS team and subspecialty surgical support

* Clinic 2-3 days per week

* EMR Platform – EPIC

* 24/7 Hospitalist coverage.
