Description
Facility seeking full and part-time Trauma and Emergency General Surgeons
- Full-time: 14 days/month (1-2 blocks), includes in-house and backup call shifts
- Part-time: 7 days/month with full-time benefits
- 100% Acute Care (no elective surgery)
- Cover trauma alerts, EGS consultations, and provide backup for airway alerts
- Round on 12-bed STICU, step-down unit, and med/surg floors
- On-site clinic 1 day/week (APP coverage, surgeon support as needed)
- 24/7 APP coverage
- 1,600+ trauma patients/year, 95% blunt trauma
- 500+ trauma & EGS cases/year
- ED volume: 50,000/year
- Cerner EMR transitioning to Epic in Fall 2025
- Compensation:
- Competitive salary (up to $540K total for 14 days/month)
- $24K quality incentive, $5K CME allowance
- $50K sign-on bonus, $10K relocation reimbursement

- Requirements: PA License, BC in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, ATLS, ACLS, PALS
