As the Medical Director you may be responsible for overseeing the medical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Additionally, responsibilities may include developing and implementing medical policies and procedures, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, managing medical staff, monitoring and improving patient outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and participating in strategic planning for the hospital's medical department. The medical director may also be involved in budgeting, resource allocation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the hospital.

Salary Information:
Range: $285,000- $310,000

Credentials:
MD or DO degree from an Accredited program
Board Certification
Active Medical License to Practice medicine in the state
Must be COVID-19 Vaccinated

Workload Information:
Payer mix – 35% Medicare, 15% Medicaid, 35% Commercial, balance is “other”
Age distribution – pediatric to geriatric, high elderly population in area
Patients per day – Average 20-24 for full day office visits
28 hours direct patient care, 9 hours Med Dir admin hours, 3
practice admin hours
