Catapult Healthcare is partnered with a Health System located in Virginia that is in need of a locum tenens Pediatrician Hospitalist. The Ideal candidate would be a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physician that is comfortable working days and nights.• 12 hr shifts, 7a-7p and 7p-7a - need providers willing to do both
• Average census varies (fall and winter 15-20, summer and spring 10-12)
• 2-3 admissions per shift (included in above census)
• no coverage of NICU or PICU
• Single physician coverage, but back-up physician will in if census tops 18
• Procedures: Lumber Punctures, basic I&D
• No call
• all specialties available (only thing transferred out are burn) Requirements: • BC or BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• BLS and ACLS
