Catapult Physician Staffing is working with a direct client in North Carolina that has openings at multiple facilities across the state for a locum tenens hospitalist. An ideal candidate will be BC or BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, have at least two years of recent and relevant Hospitalist experience and will be licensed to practice in North Carolina.Details:
7 On 7 OFF, 12 hour shifts
Inpatient only
Will accept Internal Medicine physicians and FM with experience
Consults handled by NP/PA with physician back up
Level 1 Trauma Center
No ICU/Critical Care Procedures
Hospitalists Do Not Run Codes
Inpatient Census: 170
Avg# of patient/day/provider 15/18
Avg# of admissions/day 1-2 Avg# of admissions/night 8
Day coverage: # of Physicians 11 # of APPs 3
Night coverage: # of Physicians 3 # of APPs 2
