Position Overview:
A healthcare organization in Ohio is seeking a highly skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team in Pulmonology. This opportunity is ideal for providers with expertise in Pulmonary and/or Sleep Medicine to provide care in both outpatient settings and weekend hospital rounding.

Job Details:

Start Date: December 1, 2024

End Date: April 1, 2025

Location: Near Bluffton, OH (exact location disclosed upon inquiry)

Shifts:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Weekend rounding: Saturday and Sunday, including on-call coverage from Friday 4:30 PM to Monday 8:00 AM

Call Ratio: 1:6-7

Average Patients Per Day: 12-21

Practice Setting: Outpatient with potential weekend rounding

EMR: Epic

Supervision: Physicians available during office hours; on-call support for weekend rounding

Procedures: No in-office procedures required

Patient Demographics: Primarily adult and geriatric patients

Job Requirements:

Licensing: Ohio license required (or willingness to obtain)

Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
- Board Certification required for NP/PA (ANCC, AANP, CNP, or PA)

Experience: Only trained and experienced NP/PAs will be considered

Additional Information:

Compensation: Competitive market rates

Travel Reimbursement:
- Lodging: per night
- All other travel bookings will be approved for standard/economy rates
