Availability: Flexible; two weeks per month preferred

Coverage Details

Schedule: Primarily 7:30 am to 7:30 pm

Call: Beeper call; in-house presence not required but recommended due to frequent activity

Setting: Both outpatient and inpatient

Holidays Included: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas

Practice Requirements

Certifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- BLS certification required

Support Staff:
- 7 Registered Nurses (RNs)
- 1 Medical Assistant (MA)

Supervision: Required for Advanced Practice Providers

Patient Care Responsibilities

Patients per Shift: Approximately 20

Annual Deliveries: Approximately 312

Specialty Skills Required:
- Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management
- Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and II)
- Routine and complicated deliveries, including VBACs, C-sections, and multiple births
- Gynecological procedures: IUD insertions, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, and minor office procedures
- Surgical gynecology, including tubal ligation, cystectomy, and laparoscopic procedures

Facility Information

EMR System: Epic

Privileges: Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges not available

Trauma Level: Level II

Additional Details

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
