Job DescriptionPay is $165/HR Plus Mileage, lodging, and malpractice insurance Start Date: 11/18/2024 Shift Details: 3 12-hours shifts, rotating (Day & Night; but primarily looking for night shifts) Schedule: Full time position, Rotating, with weekends Work Details: Support staff: Lead APRNs, APRN Director Patients per day: 6-10 patients Patient population/age: Providing care to infants, children, and families for management of critical illnesses. Department description: Our 46-bed MSICU cares for medical and surgical patients ranging for newborn to early adult. The patient population is diverse with a variety of medical and surgical needs. Our newborn population is primarily patients with congenital diaphragmatic hernia or need for extra corporal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) soon after birth. The children and early adults have a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to acute respiratory distress syndrome, multiple trauma, septic shock, congenital malformations, and liver, lung and kidney transplantation. EMR: Cerner Hospital bed size: 46 beds (55 when expansion is completed) Skills required: Solid medical knowledge base for critical care medicine. Critical thinking skills and adaptability. Excellent communication skills and work collaboratively with medical and surgical colleagues, staff and trainee Practice Setting: Hospital Requirements: Board Certification: Yes, Pediatric and/or Critical Care License required: Yes, State of MA Certifications: BLS, PALS DEA: Yes Minimum experience required: 2 year of critical care experience Trauma Level Peds I II III IV
