A level 2 trauma facility is seeking a general surgery nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located on the Lower East Side of New York.
This position involves a flexible schedule covering night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, with occasional daytime shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM as needed for coverage. Responsibilities include inpatient and ED consults, surgery consults, and first assisting. Candidates must hold NCCPA board certification and a valid NYS license. The case volume is low, and an attending physician will be on call for support. The facility uses Epic for EMR, and orientation consists of one shadow shift to ensure a smooth transition.
