Description
Interventional Suite Registered Nurse
An Interventional Suite (IS) Registered Nurse is a highly competent member of the professional health care team, who, through previous clinical experience and education, has shown excellent clinical judgement and is able to perform at a high level of autonomy. The (IS) Registered Nurse uses the nursing process in the care of patients with complex cardiovascular diseases, assessing the patient’s status and collaborating with physicians to maintain a safe level of procedural sedation, monitoring the patients hemodynamics and attending to the needs of the patient.
