Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team at Ocala Hospital. We are committed to providing top-notch care to our patients, and we are looking for an experienced RRT to deliver exceptional respiratory therapy services. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care services to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including chronic respiratory diseases, cardiac conditions, and other critical illnesses.
• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosolized medications.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests and assess patient needs for respiratory therapy interventions.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure optimal respiratory function for patients.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques, equipment use, and overall lung health management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations and provide quality care under pressure.
