Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proven experience working with confidential information in a clinical setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively delegate and manage nursing team resources
- Proficient in using basic computer systems and electronic health records
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area (e.g., perioperative nursing, anesthesia support)
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a surgical environment
- Familiarity with functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Additional Certifications or training related to surgical nursing
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous experience working in an operating room or surgical setting is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work day shift (8-hour shifts) starting 05/18/2026
- Ability to perform heavy physical work, including exerting force and working in a physically demanding environment
- Knowledge of infection control standards and OSHA guidelines
- Must be able to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases
- Must comply with all regulatory standards, including OSHA and HIPAA
