Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to specialize in the fast-paced, critical environment of the operating room? We are seeking a dedicated RN - OR to provide exceptional perioperative care that transforms patient outcomes and supports surgical success. Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong knowledge of the Nursing Process, surgical procedures, and perioperative protocols
- Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
- Superior communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to delegate effectively and prioritize patient safety
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in surgical or perioperative nursing (CNOR or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in an operating room setting
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and hospital computer systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Diploma in Nursing required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Prior perioperative nursing experience, ideally 2+ years
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-pressure situations efficiently
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work Day Shift, 8-hour shifts, starting from 05/18/2026
- Physical ability to perform heavy work, including repositioning and assisting patients
- Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and communicable diseases in accordance with safety standards
- Willingness to adhere to all hospital policies, standards, and compliance regulations
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient-centered care
