Description

We are seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment with our client in North Carolina, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves comprehensive patient care from 7p-7a, focusing on daily rounds for cardiology patients, meticulous documentation including progress notes and H&Ps, ordering necessary tests and medications, and performing critical ICU procedures such as arterial line placement, central line placement, and cardioversion, in collaboration with attending physicians.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line.
  • Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharging summaries.
  • Order medications, testing, and procedures when indicated.
  • Perform procedures in the ICU when indicated, including arterial line placement, central line placement, and cardioversion.
  • Conduct new consults with the attending Physician.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Cardiology is required.
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system.
