Our client in Maine is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 7-day assignment starting Jun 17, 2026. This role involves a specific part-time schedule, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, conducting wellness checks, and crucially, supporting the EMS crew by responding to 911 medical emergencies and facilitating patient transport.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including wellness checks and treatment for various ailments.
  • Support the EMS Crew during emergency calls.
  • Respond to 911 medical emergencies when toned out via pager.
  • Accompany patients during transport to the mainland by ferry, boat, or small plane for transfer or ER drop-off.
  • Reschedule appointments as necessary when called out to attend emergencies.
