A facility is seeking an internal medicine nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Davenport, IA.
This 13-week (or longer) assignment begins ideally on February 3rd, 17th, or 24th, with credentialing completed within a month. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 3-4 days in-person home health visits and 1-2 days remote, working from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The position, open to NPs/PAs only, involves seeing 4-6 adult patients daily, focusing on chronic kidney disease management, including post-hospitalization visits, initial assessments, and follow-ups. Experience with nephrology or complex disease management is preferred. No on-call responsibilities, and the role includes MD oversight, using Athena and Salesforce EMR systems. An Iowa license, DEA certification, and COVID or flu vaccination are required.
