Job Description
Medix is partnering with a national leader in healthcare to find a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for a permanent role in Milwaukee. In this clinician role, you will join a team focused on a Value-Based Care model, specifically serving the senior population. Unlike traditional fee-for-service environments, this position prioritizes building deep, long-term relationships with patients through longer appointment times (typically 45 minutes) and smaller daily patient panels. You will work alongside a physician to manage non-complex cases, prescribe necessary medications, and participate in daily team huddles to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Skills

The ideal clinician will bring several years of experience in Primary Care, with a specific focus on Geriatrics or Value-Based Care (VBC). Applicants should be comfortable working in a high-touch senior care environment and have proficiency with EMR systems, specifically eClinical Works. Required certifications include a valid BLS or ACLS and an active Family Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Wisconsin. We are seeking professionals who are passionate about integrative medicine and moving away from high-volume, "stretched thin" clinical settings.
