Position Details:

Shift Types: 12-hour shifts, with options including:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend Coverage: Required

On-Call: None

Facility Highlights:

Emergency Department (ED) Volume: Approximately 65,000 annual visits

Specialty Backup: Comprehensive support, excluding Ophthalmology, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, and Hand Surgery

New ED Facility: Opening in late 2024–2025 with 75 exam rooms and a 10-bed overflow unit

24-Hour Cath Lab

EMR System: Epic

Additional Support: Scribes available for physicians

Requirements:

Licensure: Active Kentucky license and DEA required at the time of presentation. Providers with an IMLC Letter of Qualification are welcome to apply.

Board Certification: ABEM certification required; residency in Emergency Medicine is mandatory.

Certifications:
- ATLS
- BLS
- PALS

Experience: Must have a clean claims history and file.

Schedule Flexibility: Open to working days, nights, and weekends.
