Locum Tenens Opportunity: General Surgeon/Trauma SurgeonLocation: Near Foristell, MO Job ID: j-178994 Specialties: Surgery - General, Surgery - Trauma Providers Needed: 4 Start Date: 01-03-2024 End Date: Ongoing Details: We are seeking experienced General Surgeons and Trauma Surgeons for locum tenens coverage. This assignment requires coverage for 3-5 day stretches over a weekend once a month. The provider will be responsible for covering all trauma and emergency general surgery cases. ICU coverage is not required, and there will be no trainees. Subspecialty support will be available for consults. This is a busy Level 2 Trauma Center and Level 1 STEMI center, with approximately 2000 activations annually and around 80,000 ED visits. The facility has 30 ORs, including a blocked trauma OR (with a second available if needed), and a designated EGS room.
