Description
Our client in Colorado is seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician for a 5-day assignment beginning Jun 29, 2026. This role involves performing DOT physicals, evaluating and treating workplace injuries, conducting pre-employment and fit-for-duty exams, and managing basic urgent care and occupational medicine visits during standard daytime shifts.
Responsibilities and Duties - Perform DOT physicals and FMCSA certification
- Evaluate and treat workplace injuries
- Conduct workers’ compensation follow-ups and provide return-to-work clearance
- Perform pre-employment and fit-for-duty examinations
- Complete employer and DOT documentation
- Provide basic urgent care and occupational medicine visits
- Perform Common Procedures
- Evaluate and manage common occupational musculoskeletal injuries of the neck, back, and upper and lower extremities
- Manage work-related injuries to the head with or without loss of consciousness, assuming the individual is currently conscious and alert
- Address work-related injuries to the chest or abdomen, with the possibility of hernias
- Treat work-related lacerations of the face and extremities which do not impair function or sensation
- Handle work-related foreign bodies to the eye, and other non-penetrating eye injuries or conditions of the eye that do not affect vision
- Manage work-related rashes and other occupational skin conditions
- Treat occupational asthma and other work-related respiratory symptoms
Additional Information - Required Board Certifications: Occupational Medicine
- EMR: Systoc
- Shift hours: 8-5 with hour lunch unpaid (8 hour day)
