Required Skills:
- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure for practicing as a Nurse Midwife
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecological care protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and build rapport with patients
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Proven skill in conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, and managing deliveries
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospital-based or community obstetric services
- Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications in women’s health or neonatal care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing with specialization in Midwifery
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife in a comparable setting
- Demonstrated leadership in patient education and advocacy
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed for community outreach or professional development
- Commitment to maintaining current licensure and certifications
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
