Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Overview:

Required Skills:
- Current CRNA certification and active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience (consideration for 6 months with strong background)
- Proficiency in supervising anesthesia for various procedures, including GYN, general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, and more
- Ability to perform spinal blocks and comfortably handle Level II Trauma cases
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with arterial line placement (not mandatory)
- Familiarity with performing regional anesthesia or epidurals (not required) as CRNAs will perform spinal blocks only
- Previous exposure to diverse clinical scenarios and trauma cases
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential from an accredited program
- Active DEA and CSRS certifications
- At least 1 year of post-graduate anesthesia practice; exceptions considered for highly qualified candidates with 6 months of experience
Other Requirements:
- Ability to obtain or hold an active state license (licensure process typically 30-45 days for licensed candidates, up to 90-120 days for pending applications)
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including 24-hour shift coverage and holiday scheduling (must work Christmas)
- Comfortable working in a supervised model with a maximum 4:1 provider-to-patient ratio
- Must be comfortable performing supervision-based anesthesia in a Level II trauma hospital environment
