What You Will Bring to the Role:
- Certification as a CRNA and current North Carolina license.
- 1-2 years of proven anesthesia experience—no new graduates considered.
- Strong skills in vascular, neuro, and pediatric anesthesia preferred.
- Ability to float across different anesthesia locations as needed.
- Valid ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Flexibility to work a consistent schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the ability to adapt to shift needs.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hearts and lungs anesthesia is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Comfort working with advanced anesthesia and monitoring equipment such as Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitors.
- Ability to coordinate care across general surgery, ortho, gyn, ENT, vascular, thoracic, and neuro departments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant anesthesia experience in a hospital setting.
Additional Requirements:
- Willing to obtain a compact license for quick credentialing.
- Must be able to float seamlessly between multiple departments, including NORA locations.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
- Credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days.
Compensation for this opportunity is competitive, with an hourly rate of $214.50, plus opportunities for overtime pay at 1.5x the normal rate on select holidays and after hours. The position involves working full-time day shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), with flexibility to ensure coverage across various operating rooms and specialized locations.
