What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience ensuring confident patient care.
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and documentation using Epic.
- Certifications in ACLS and BCLS are required to ensure safe and effective care.
- Ability and willingness to float within units of similar or lower acuity, accommodating a flexible schedule.
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
- Previous travel nursing experience to adapt quickly in diverse settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- At least a 2-year track record in Progressive Care or similar intensive care environments.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, especially Epic.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work the night shift (19:00 - 07:30) on a 3x12 schedule, with some weekend and holiday rotations.
- Must be comfortable floating between units of equivalent or lower acuity to best serve patient needs.
