Board Certified Interventional Radiology Physician – Oklahoma City VA Health Care System, Oklahoma City, OK

FTE: 1.0 FTE (80 hours every two weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | On-Call Coverage Required

About This Opportunity
JR Enterprise is seeking a Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Interventional Radiology Physician to provide high-quality onsite interventional radiology services to Veterans at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System.
This long-term contract opportunity allows physicians to practice within a clinically structured radiology program, delivering advanced interventional and diagnostic imaging services following standards established by the American College of Radiology and VA clinical practice guidelines.
You will work in a mission-driven, collaborative clinical environment while providing critical procedural and imaging care supporting U.S. Veterans.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive interventional radiology and diagnostic support services including:
Abdominal, genitourinary, breast, cardiovascular, and general imaging-related procedures
Musculoskeletal and neuroradiology-related procedural services
Image-guided interventional radiology treatments
Clinical evaluation and review of imaging-guided procedures
Support for diagnostic and therapeutic radiology services
Advanced Imaging and Procedural Systems
The physician should be proficient or willing to work with:
Interventional radiology procedural techniques
Image-guided vascular and non-vascular interventions
Modern radiology treatment technology
Clinical practice must align with standards of the American Board of Radiology and VA healthcare regulatory guidelines.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Multidisciplinary clinical collaboration
Peer review participation
Quality improvement initiatives
Accurate clinical documentation within the VA electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board Certified in Radiology through the American Board of Radiology
Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
Active, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state or territory)
Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
National Provider Identifier (NPI)
DEA registration if applicable
Ability to complete VA credentialing and privileging requirements
Minimum technical competency in interventional radiology procedures
Schedule & Coverage Details
Clinic and procedural hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-Call Requirement
Rotating call coverage may be required including:
Weeknights
Weekends
Federal holidays
Call responsibilities include:
Maintaining phone consultation availability during assigned call periods
Responding to pages within 15 minutes
Staffing & Performance Expectations
Minimum of two board-certified radiology physicians onsite daily when required by facility operations
Contractor must provide contingency coverage for sick leave, vacation, or unexpected absence
Personnel substitution must follow VA contract compliance procedures
