Qualifications and Additional Details_x000D_

Qualifications:_x000D_
_x000D_
- NCCPA board certification or National Certification by a respective accredited professional nursing organization is required.
_x000D_
- DEA license required (or eligible to obtain).
_x000D_
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is mandatory.
_x000D_
_x000D_
Additional Details:_x000D_
_x000D_
- Previous cardiothoracic surgery or cardiac experience is a plus.
_x000D_
- Ideal candidates should have some acute care experience.
_x000D_
_x000D_
Your Responsibilities_x000D_
_x000D_
As a Physician Assistant Cardiothoracic, your responsibilities will include:_x000D_
_x000D_
Patient Care:_x000D_
_x000D_
- Overseeing care for patients in the Cardiac Surgery ICU, handling a range of cases from CABG and valve replacement to ECMO, aortic dissections, and aneurysm repairs.
_x000D_
- Performing bedside procedures within your scope of service.
_x000D_
_x000D_
Documentation and Collaboration:_x000D_
_x000D_
- Writing progress notes, participating in daily rounds, writing orders, dictating discharge notes, and contributing to hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
_x000D_
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
_x000D_
_x000D_
Work Schedule_x000D_
_x000D_
You'll work on a 7 on - 7 off shift schedule from 7 pm - 7 am, with 12-hour shifts. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for a Physician Assistant Cardiothoracic to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing cardiothoracic program and help save lives._x000D_
