Locum Tenens Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity near Trinidad, CA Are you a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking for a long-term locum tenens position? We have an excellent opportunity near Trinidad, California, at a reputable Family Medicine outpatient clinic. Position Details: Specialties: Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Family Practice Department: Family Medicine Start Date: 11-06-2023 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only EMR System: Epic Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Patients Per Shift: 18 Board Certification: Eligible License Requirement: Active License in CA Support Staff: 1 RN, 2 MAs Insurance Provided By: Vendor Additional Details: Candidate CVs need to have month & date on their work experience with all gaps in employment accounted for. Includes some Chronic Pain Management Chart closure within 72 hours Schedule = 18 Patients Per Day (PPD), minimum see 18 PPD Monday-Friday 8-5, 4/10's possible Mix of pediatrics/adults A decision is typically made within 7-14 days BC (Board Certified) required Active DEA needed before start Credentialing takes 30-90 days (six weeks is common if provider submits application/supporting documents timely) The following immunizations are required for credentialing (before start date): 2022-2023 Flu Vaccine TB Status/X-Ray Results (results must be within the 90 days before start date) Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series Tdap Immunization (must be within the last 10 years) COVID-19 vaccination and booster (no longer required) HCO & Vendor agree to a 30-day notice for ending all assignments.
