Locum Nurse Practitioner (Geriatric Medicine) Opportunity in Delaware Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a passion for Geriatric Medicine? We have an exceptional locum tenens opportunity for you! Job Details: Shift: Days Weekend Requirements: Required for after-hours/weekend coverage on a rotating basis Mandated Job Requirements: ANCC/AANP Board Certified Active PA license 5-7 years of NP experience, preferably in long-term care, and a minimum of 1 year working with the frail or elderly population BLS CDS Certification DEA Registration Clean/Clear malpractice (Highly Preferred) EMR TruChart experience (Highly Preferred) Job Description: As a Nurse Practitioner in our team, you will: Provide primary medical management in collaboration with the PACE Organization (PO) Physician(s). Perform assessments, develop and implement appropriate plans of care for PO participants. Evaluate participant physical complaints and provide appropriate treatment. Participate in discharge planning for acute and long-term placement. Make nursing home or home visits when needed. Work with Medical Director and Clinic Supervisor to formulate clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care. Requirements: Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority required 5-7 years of NP experience required, preferably in long-term care, and a minimum of one (1) year working with the frail or elderly population (no new grads) Located near TOWNSEND, DE.
